Andhra Pradesh High Court Allows Trust Managing Sri Aadi Varahi Shakti Temple To Celebrate Navratri At Disputed Land

The Andhra Pradesh Excessive Courtroom has allowed the Sri Aadi Varahi Shakti Temple Belief to prepare celebration of “Aashada Gupta Varaahi Navaratrulu” on the disputed temple land.

The Courtroom was contemplating a Writ Petition in search of suspension of proceedings undertaken by the Authorities below Part 164(1) BNSS directing the Petitioner to not enter into the land and prohibiting the entry and occupation of the disputed land.

The Single Bench of Justice Harinath N. ordered, “The impugned proceedings dated 16.06.2025 shall stand suspended until 06.07.2025. The sixth respondent shall lengthen vital bundobust to the petitioner/Sri Aadi Varahi Shakti Temple Belief for performing the proposed “Aashada Gupta Varaahi Navaratrulu” from 26.06.2025 to 05.07.2025.”

The Petitioner was represented by Advocate Pathi Siva Prasad whereas the Respondent was represented by Authorities Pleader.

Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is taking care of the actions of Sri Aadi Varahi Shakti Temple Belief which was constructed on land measuring 0.50 cents at Tiruchanur Village. It was additional submitted that the mentioned land was bought by the seventh Respondent and his members of the family by an unregistered settlement sale deed the all the sale consideration was handed to him on the time of execution.

It was additional submitted that the Petitioner intends to conduct “Aashada Gupta Varaahi Navaratrulu” from June 26, 2025 to July 05, 2025 and has made a illustration to the authorities (sixth Respondent). Nonetheless, the fifth Respondent issued proceedings below Part 164(1) BNSS and directed the Petitioner and the seventh Respondent to not enter into the land and prohibited the entry and occupation of the disputed land.

He thereby sought modification of the mentioned proceedings to the extent that the Petitioner be allowed to hold out the festivities.

The Courtroom, whereas permitting the plea, directed the Petitioner to cooperate with the authorities in order that no legislation and order drawback is created and clarified that the order wouldn’t be implied as conferring title over the property.
