CJI BR Gavai Inaugurates Advocates’ Chambers & Multi-Level Parking At Allahabad High Court

Chief Justice of India BR Gavai inaugurated the new advocates’ chambers and a multi-level parking facility at the Allahabad High Court. CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal also attended the important event.

Chief Justice of India BR Gavai who recently visited Allahabad and inaugurated two important infrastructure projects at the Allahabad High Court. These projects included newly constructed advocates’ chambers and a multi-level parking building.
The aim of these developments is to provide better facilities to lawyers and to improve the working environment in the court.
CJI officially inaugurated the newly constructed High Court Advocate Chambers and the Multi-Level Parking Building.

The inauguration ceremony was held with the presence of many senior dignitaries. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal were also present at the event. Their presence showed strong support from both the state and central government for improving judicial infrastructure.
During the programme, the Chief Justice of India BR Gavai appreciated the role of the Allahabad High Court in India’s judicial history. He expressed his satisfaction with the development of modern infrastructure to support the functioning of the court.
Meanwhile, the district administration continued preparations for the inauguration ceremony late into the night. On Thursday, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar inspected the venue to review the arrangements.
The inauguration of the 12-storey Advocate Chamber and the Multi-Level Parking Building at the Allahabad High Court is planned for Saturday.

Preparations are nearly complete, with the main event set to begin at 10:00 AM on the 12th floor. CJI B.R. Gavai, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal will be in attendance.
Additionally, several Supreme Court judges, including Justices Surya Kant, J.K. Maheshwari, Pankaj Mithal, Vikram Nath, B.V. Nagarathna, and Manoj Misra, will also be present.
The Multi-Level Parking Building is designed to accommodate vehicles across five floors, with a capacity for approximately 2,300 four-wheelers and 1,500 two-wheelers.
A dedicated parking area for individuals with disabilities is available in the basement, and there is also a parking arrangement for two-wheelers for the differently-abled on the ground floor.
For advocates, 2,300 air-conditioned chambers have been constructed, along with canteen and library facilities.
The complex features 26 escalators and 24 lifts, as well as banking and ATM services on the ground floor.
The newly inaugurated advocates’ chambers will help lawyers work in a more organised and comfortable environment. The multi-level parking is expected to solve the parking problems that many people face at the High Court premises. With better facilities in place, the functioning of the court is likely to become smoother.
