Delhi ACB Caught In Shocking Audio Plot To Frame Judge Over Adverse Orders
A leaked audio clip allegedly reveals Delhi ACB officers plotting to frame a judge for issuing critical orders. The judge accuses them of retaliating instead of following legal procedures.
New Delhi: Today, On May 26, A serious controversy has erupted in the national capital as the Delhi High Court examines an explosive audio recording.
The clip reportedly captures a senior officer from the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) admitting that efforts were made to frame a judge who had passed orders critical of the agency’s actions.
According to the audio, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) from the ACB is heard acknowledging that they were planning to target the judge in response to his judicial orders.
The ACP can be heard saying the “practical sense” behind framing the judge was because “there was a series of orders questioning the investigations being carried out by the Anti-Corruption Branch.”
He also mentioned that the judge had issued directions to replace the investigating officer, which the agency did not welcome.
The judge, in the same recording, is heard defending his actions, stating that he had no personal issues with the officers of the ACB.
He said they should have challenged his orders in court through legal means rather than attempting to falsely implicate him.
The judge reportedly said,
“they could have challenged the orders on the judicial side instead of trying to implicate him by lifting people from hospitals and forcing them to write statements against the court.”
In a disturbing part of the recording, the ACB officer made a veiled threat, implying that the judge’s continued adverse rulings could have serious consequences.
The ACP reportedly stated,
“if orders continue to be passed against the officers of the Branch, then there will be consequences.”
He added that he was revealing these things to the judge only on “humanitarian grounds.”
The case has its roots in a First Information Report (FIR) that the Anti-Corruption Branch registered against the court staff working under the Special Judge.
This move came shortly after the judge issued contempt notices against top ACB officials in ongoing cases. The FIR is now being viewed as a retaliatory step to pressure the court.
One of the main persons involved, a court staffer named Ahmad, who was posted in the Special Judge’s court from September 2023 to March 2025, has filed a petition before the Delhi High Court.
In his petition, he alleged that he was threatened by ACB officials during his time in the judge’s court. Due to this pressure, he requested a transfer in January 2025.
Ahmad stated that after the Special Judge issued a contempt notice against the ACB on May 16, the agency falsely registered an FIR against him on fabricated grounds.
He further alleged that this was an attempt to indirectly implicate the judge in the matter as well.
Ahmad’s request for anticipatory bail was rejected by the trial court on May 22, but the court clearly instructed the ACB to follow legal procedures if they wanted to arrest him.
Ahmad has now filed a writ petition seeking a fair investigation by an independent agency like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
In his petition, he has claimed that the FIR was not only fake but also a tactic of the ACB to frame the judge after the contempt notice was issued on May 15.
His counsel has accused the ACB officers of corruption, intimidation, document forgery, and misuse of their power.
Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court had earlier rejected a request from the ACB to start an investigation against the judge on charges of bribery.
This rejection came on February 14, with the High Court noting that there was not enough evidence to justify such an investigation.
However, the court did allow the ACB to continue its broader probe but warned that stronger evidence would be needed to reopen any inquiry against the judge.
In a major development, the judge in question was transferred to another district on May 20 through an administrative order, raising further questions about the sequence of events.
Ahmad, through his petition, has asked the Delhi High Court to either quash the FIR registered against him or transfer the case to the CBI to ensure a fair and independent investigation.
The Delhi High Court has now asked the State authorities to submit a status report on the matter by May 29.
This case raises troubling questions about the misuse of power by enforcement agencies and possible threats to judicial independence.
The allegations of pressuring court staff, falsifying documents, and trying to target a judge based on his rulings have sent shockwaves through the legal community. The upcoming court hearings and the State’s response are expected to shed more light on the situation in the coming days.
