- Role: Deputy Manager – Legal
- Industry: Life Insurance
- Location: Chennai
- Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years
- Compensation: ₹11 LPA
- Age Limit: Below 40 years
- Joining: Immediate or as per mutual agreement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regional legal oversight and handle litigation and dispute resolution
- Offer legal advisory and compliance support to internal teams
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and legal frameworks
- Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and internal controls
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide solutions
- Maintain proper documentation and records of legal matters
- Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and stakeholders
- Stay abreast with legal updates and industry best practices
- Supervise and support junior legal professionals
- Handle multiple legal assignments with accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct detailed legal research and drafting
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: LL.B. (mandatory), LL.M. (preferred)
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in legal roles, preferably in the insurance or financial sector
