Trilegal continues to see counsel exits as Abhishek Kalra joins CAM as partner in Mumbai, ETLegalWorld

Trilegal’s counsels continue to be hot property in the legal market, as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas becomes the latest to turn to the firm, onboarding Abhishek Kalra as a partner in its corporate practice.
Kalra rejoins CAM after a brief two-year counsel stint at Trilegal. He brings over 12 years of experience with M&A and private equity. He has been advising multinational corporations and private equity clients on their investments, acquisitions, exits and related corporate governance.
Kalra has particular experience in the healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and IT sectors.
“I am delighted to welcome Abhishek back to the Firm as a Partner. With his arrival, we continue to strengthen our corporate practice capabilities to serve our clients,” said CAM’s managing partner Cyril Shroff, in a statement.
Kalra is the third Trilegal counsel to join CAM’s partnership in recent times following corporate attorney Prajna Mohapatra, who rejoined CAM in April, and Pooranimaa Hariharan, who joined the partnership in July 2024.
Trilegal’s counsels have also found partnership at CMSInduslaw, JSA and Tatva Legal in recent times.
